HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Several Hawaiian Airlines planes will be getting a new look.
The airline unveiled Monday the first of three “Moana 2” aircraft designs to celebrate the upcoming release of the Disney movie.
Hawaiian’s Airbus A330 aircraft features Moana, Maui, and Kakamora, as well as a “Welcome Voyagers” message for all guests embarking on their next adventure.
Next month, Hawaiian will reveal two additional custom character decals adorning an Airbus A321neo and a Boeing 717 aircraft.
The overhead luggage bins on all three are also being decorated with characters and artwork from the film.
The special “Moana 2” planes will fly on Hawaiian’s regularly scheduled routes within Hawaii and between Hawaii and Asia, Oceania, and the U.S. continent through March 2025.
“Moana 2” hits theaters on Nov. 27.
